Job Summary
Supervise evening and weekend shifts, acting as the point person for residents and Direct Care Staff while overseeing all shift activities. Assist with participant schedules, appointments, and daily operations under the Program Director's supervision. Drive residents in agency vehicles, including wheelchair-equipped vans, and support functional skills training for healthcare management and Activities of Daily Living. Work Sunday through Thursday from 3pm to 11pm, with an optional Sunday morning shift, ensuring safety procedures, fire drills, and emergency response systems are maintained. Complete monthly documentation, incident reports, and service plan implementations while participating in staff meetings and in-service planning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associates degree in human services or 1 year experience in related field
- Ability to organize, prioritize, plan and complete tasks independently
- Ability to understand, speak, read and write fluent English
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer knowledge
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Must hold a valid drivers' license
- Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport individuals
- Ability to operate agency vehicles
- Must be available for Sunday through Thursday 3pm-11pm
- Must be available for optional 7am-3pm shift on Sunday
- Must be willing to drive residents in Advocates vehicles, including wheelchair lift-equipped vans as well as in personal vehicle
