Job Summary
Administer the Head Start/Early Head Start program under general supervision of the Program Director, providing leadership and oversight of Area Supervisors and Content Area staff. Ensure effective program management, consistent service delivery, and compliance with Head Start standards while reviewing personnel matters including recruitment, employment, retention, and termination. Support the delivery of comprehensive services to children and families and promote continuity across program areas. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two years of supervisory experience, and a valid Oklahoma driver's license. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, human services, or related field
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory and program operations experience
- Leadership ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and receive and provide feedback
- Computer literate
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
- Accurate typing skills
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment
- Knowledge of community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions
- Knowledge of providing age-appropriate education services
- Knowledge of facilitating family involvement in program services
- Ability to comply with Head Start Performance Standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a tuberculosis test
- Clear Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation background check
- No physical, mental or emotional conditions that affect the ability to perform essential job functions
