Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, evaluate student work, provide substantive feedback, and maintain appropriate records while holding office hours. Lead an active program of scholarship consistent with AACSB accreditation standards and serve the department, college, university, and professional organizations. Advise students and maintain currency in the content area related to teaching assignments. This tenure-track position begins August 23, 2027, for a 9-month appointment. The Department of Accountancy at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse is part of the College of Business Administration, which includes six academic departments and the Small Business Development Center.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or DBA in Accountancy or related field
- Evidence of the ability to be an effective instructor
- Evidence of clear and effective communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Degree from an AACSB-accredited institution
- Demonstrated potential for research and publications consistent with AACSB International accreditation standards
- Certified Public Accountant license from the United States
