Job Summary
The University of Louisville's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor to engage in direct patient care, teaching, and mentoring of medical students and residents. This role requires collaboration on clinical research, quality, safety, and academic projects. Candidates should possess an MD or DO, be board certified or eligible, and have the ability to obtain a Kentucky Medical License. Interest or experience in clinical research, robotics, minimally invasive surgery, and LGBTQ+ health is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility
- Qualifications to obtain an unrestricted Kentucky Medical License
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in clinical research
- Robotics experience
- Minimally invasive surgery experience
- Family planning experience
- Chronic pelvic pain interest
- Sexual dysfunction expertise
- Knowledge of lesbian, bisexual, and transgender health
Additional Requirements
- Previous faculty experience in an academic setting is preferred
