Job Summary
Tenure-track or non-tenure track faculty in the Department of Surgery with a clinical emphasis in oncologic surgery. Teach and mentor medical students and residents in general surgery and surgical oncology; participate as an active clinical member of the Colorectal and Oncologic Surgery Division; perform academic research related to surgical oncology; participate on departmental and university committees as assigned. This role is a full-time faculty position with an emphasis on teaching, clinical care in oncologic surgery, and scholarly activity. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and is based at the University of Kansas Medical Center in the Kansas City metro area.
Required Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Surgery
- Completion of a fellowship in Surgical Oncology
- Background in teaching and research
