Job Summary
Three-year, limited-term faculty position in Supply Chain Management at the rank of Assistant Professor. Teaching eight 3-credit hour courses per academic year, including courses such as Introduction to Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Project Management, in support of the BBA program. Emphasis on undergraduate teaching and contributions to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, fostering an inclusive environment. Requires a Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline; Ph.D. preferred. Prior teaching experience in Supply Chain courses is required. The position operates within the TS teaching/service pattern and includes active involvement in various service roles and meaningful contributions to the Supply Chain Management Program. Expected to teach at MRU Main Campus, Calgary, AB, Canada; no remote work specified. Mastery of teaching and service responsibilities, with a focus on delivering eight courses per academic year and engagement in departmental service.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management or a closely related discipline
- Teaching experience in Supply Chain Management at the post-secondary level in Canada
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
