Assistant Professor Pediatric Urology

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care to infants, children, and adolescents with all pediatric urologic disorders at Randall Children's Hospital and Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Maintain a scholarly research program directed toward improved understanding of disease causes, detection, and treatment, while engaging in approved public service consultative activities. Deliver professional performance compliant with all relevant regulatory guidelines, including The Joint Commission, CMS, and OHSU IRB, treating patients, research subjects, trainees, and co-workers with dignity and respect. Candidates must hold a current Oregon medical license, board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Urology, and fellowship training in laparoscopy and robot-assisted surgery.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in medicine
- postdoctoral training
- Satisfactory record of accomplishment in teaching
- Satisfactory record of accomplishment in scholarship
- Satisfactory record of accomplishment in service
- Current license and certification with the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
- Board Eligible/Board Certified by the American Board of Urology
- Completion of fellowship in an accredited pediatric urology program
- training in laparoscopy
- robot assisted laparoscopic surgery
- Drug Enforcement Association certification
- CPR/PALS certification
- eligibility for and ability to maintain an Oregon and Washington State medical licenses
