Assistant Professor

Provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of teaching, research, patient care, outreach, and public service under the supervision of the Chair and Division Head. Perform clinical and basic science research with the potential to achieve independent federal funding, while instructing residents, fellows, students, and staff. Adhere to the general pattern of working hours set by the Head of the Division, with deviations allowed to meet projected requirements. Maintain undivided effort at the specified FTE and hold board certification or eligibility in general surgery and surgical critical care, along with Oregon licensure eligibility.
