Teach undergraduate social work courses, conduct research and scholarship, provide academic advising, and contribute to departmental service and College-wide initiatives. Required Qualifications
- A Master of Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program
- A minimum of two years of post-MSW professional social work practice in areas such as clinical social work, community practice, or social services
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in social work education and practice
- Strong professional ethics and commitment to the mission of social work education
Desired Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in Social Work or a related field
- Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level
- Demonstrated ability to engage in research and scholarly activities
- Field supervision experience or a demonstrated commitment to working with students in practice settings
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning
