Job Summary
Teach Introduction to Data Analytics and Statistics, Data Acquisition, Wrangling and Visualization, and specialized Political Science topics while contributing to core classes like Political Analysis and Senior Seminar. Supervise community internships and independent research projects, and lead the development and expansion of the interdisciplinary Data Analytics minor. Deliver three courses per term plus a short-term May term course, while providing regular contributions to First-Year programming and serving as an academic adviser. Engage in academic scholarship and university committee service, preferably involving undergraduate students. Join a student-centered institution with small class sizes to cultivate independent thinking and social responsibility in a diverse world.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field by the start date
- expertise in quantitative methods
- expertise in areas of American politics other than public law
- commitment to teaching
