Job Summary
Shape the next generation of pharmacists by teaching and coordinating didactic and clinical courses in pharmacy practice: acute care; design innovative, evidence-based learning experiences; collaborate to enhance curriculum, teaching strategies, and assessment; assess student performance and improve learning outcomes; mentor and academically advisor students; engage in inpatient clinical practice while maintaining licensure; participate in governance, committees, and initiatives that support student success and program excellence; contribute to scholarship through research, publications, and presentations; engage in professional development and interdisciplinary education to advance student learning and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or equivalent professional degree.
- Active pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensure in Indiana).
- Credentials appropriate for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor (rank commensurate with experience).
- Demonstrated understanding of current pharmacy practice.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to interdisciplinary education and student success.
- Evidence of scholarly engagement preferred.
