Assistant Professor of Information Systems/Block Chain

Assistant Professor of Information Systems with a blockchain focus. Duties include high-impact research in blockchain technologies and fintech applications, publishing in top venues, and teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. The role seeks candidates who can collaborate with business school and other departments, contribute to information systems and technology programs, and engage in scholarship and teaching across interdisciplinary areas. Timing begins August 2027 with rolling review; interviews planned for AMCIS 2026 in Reno, NV. A Ph.D. in Information Systems or equivalent is required, with emphasis on blockchain and fintech research and the ability to teach across graduate and undergraduate curricula. The position is tenure-track, housed within Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Business School, and located in Worcester, Massachusetts.
