Job Summary
The Louisiana State University School of Music invites applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of French horn, beginning Fall 2026. Responsibilities include teaching applied horn across all degree programs, coaching chamber music, advising graduate students, and building a large studio of students. The ideal candidate will also contribute to national and international performance and teaching profiles, participate in faculty chamber music activities, and engage in faculty governance. Candidates must hold a Doctorate in horn performance or possess equivalent professional experience, alongside a distinguished record as an active performer and a passion for teaching diverse students.
