Assistant Professor of English as a Second Language (ESL) and Associate Director of Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI), Prescott Campus

Job Summary
Teach ESL/EAP and content-based courses while providing academic advising to support international student retention. Lead Prescott campus data collection and analysis for enrollment, retention, and program outcomes to inform instructional decisions. Implement and monitor ERLI curriculum, oversee placement testing and diagnostics, and conduct item analysis with the Assessment Coordinator. Ensure operations align with CEA accreditation standards by maintaining documentation for annual reviews and program evaluations. Assist with faculty recruitment, mentoring, and scheduling, and coordinate student orientation and onboarding processes. Serve as the liaison between ERLI and Prescott campus offices to maintain consistency in academic standards and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or closely related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of postsecondary ESL/EAP teaching experience
- Experience with curriculum development and student assessment
- Demonstrated ability to support and advise international students
- Familiarity with instructional technology (e.g., Canvas, Zoom)
- Strong intercultural communication skills
- Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an intensive English program in the United States
- Prior academic leadership or coordinator experience
- Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., CEA)
- Demonstrated commitment to sustained professional development in areas relevant to language education, assessment, or academic leadership
- Multilingual proficiency
