Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care

Conduct clinical and didactic teaching for veterinary students, interns, and residents while providing patient care and supervision in the Emergency and Critical Care Section. Deliver up to 12 weeks of clinical coverage, train residents and interns, and lead laboratory courses alongside clinical instruction for fourth-year students. Develop an independent extramurally funded research program contributing to clinical research that advances academic practice, dedicating approximately 45-50% of effort to this goal. Participate in departmental, school, university, and professional organization committees, and provide continuing education for practitioners in Wisconsin. Join the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine's collaborative team serving approximately 8,000 small animal patients annually in a newly constructed teaching hospital.
