Job Summary
Teach three upper-division courses per semester, typically with no more than 20 students, while conducting computer science research involving undergraduate students. Lead student Applied Groups and foster multidisciplinary collaborations across the department. Contribute to the advancement of Earlham's Mission and Principles & Practices through innovative teaching and inclusive community building. Full-time, 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Applications due by August 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Ph.D. in computer science, or a closely related discipline by the start date
- Teach courses across the computer science curriculum, such as CS 1, Algorithms, Data Structures, Senior Capstone Project, etc
- Conduct computer science research involving undergraduate students at Earlham
- Demonstrate experience with and a passion for innovative teaching
- Demonstrate ability to contribute to the advancement of Earlham's Mission and Principles & Practices
