Job Summary
Full-time clinical faculty position as Assistant Professor of Clinical in Pediatric Allergy/Immunology within the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Allergy, and Immunology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Responsibilities include delivering expert patient care in allergy/immunology, educating fellows, residents, and medical students, and developing original translational and/or clinical research with extramural funding. The program provides services such as allergy skin testing, immunotherapy with allergy shots, asthma management, eczema management, food allergy evaluation, oral food challenges, penicillin skin testing, evaluation of primary immunodeficiencies, IVIG/SCIG infusions, bone marrow transplantation-related activities, genetic testing, and participation in state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. The physician candidate should have a strong interest in research and will collaborate with related UM programs, including the Bone Marrow Transplant program, to advance patient care and scholarly work.
