Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for women across University of Miami and Jackson Health Systems, including inpatient attending responsibilities at Jackson Holtz Women's & Children's Hospital. Provide direct care, consultation for hospitalized and nonservice unit patients, and manage 12-hour shifts on Labor & Delivery, covering 12 shifts per month including weekends. Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows while developing treatment plans addressing biological, psychological, and sociocultural domains. Report Quality Assurance incidents, hazardous conditions, and equipment malfunctions per department guidelines. Use Cerner for documentation and MobileCharge for billing.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Certification in relevant specialty or field
- Active Florida Medical License & DEA
- Credentialing needed
- MD/DO
- BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Full, unrestricted Florida Medical license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
