Job Summary
Clinical educator track position in Neurology focusing on Cognitive/Memory Disorders with patient care, teaching conferences, research participation, and mentorship across the Cognitive Division and Department of Neurology. Includes care for patients in outpatient settings, collaboration with the UHealth and Jackson Health System, involvement in ongoing and future grants, preparation and presentation at teaching conferences, and support of a memory-diseases research program.
Required Qualifications
- MD degree from an accredited University or foreign equivalent
- Cognitive/Memory disorders Fellowship required
- Board certification in Neurology strongly recommended
- Eligible for Florida Medical License
- Good communications skills (face to face, over the phone and in writing)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other employees
- Excellent organizational skills
- Work in indoor office environment
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person or by telephone
- Dexterity to operate keyboard and office equipment
- Ability to reach, bend, push, move and lift files weighing up to 15-20 pounds
