Job Summary
Develop Osteopathic diagnosis and treatment skills in preclinical and clinical students while assisting them during hands-on lab sessions. Prepare lecture and lab materials, provide patient care in the NYITCOM Medical Clinic, and mentor medical students throughout their training. Serve or chair committees to meet institutional and departmental needs, conduct scholarly research, and guide students in scholarly activities. Assist with OMM tutoring, review sessions, and early intervention sessions. Other duties assigned for the department and/or college as the need arises.
Required Qualifications
- A D.O. degree from a COCA-accredited college of osteopathic medicine
- An M.D. degree from an LCME-accredited college of medicine
- Completion of an ACGME approved residency
- Equivalent board certification in the fields of N euromusculoskeletal Manual Medicine (NMM), Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), FamilyMedicine, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, Orthopedic Surgery
- Any field meeting the needs of the COM per the department chairperson
Desired Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Arkansas State Medical License
