Job Summary
Conduct three courses of in-person instruction per semester and lead an active research program involving undergraduate collaborators. Teach core and discipline-specific neuroscience courses, with a primary focus on biological and psychological approaches, while integrating evidence-based and engaged-learning pedagogies. Build an inclusive scholarly environment that welcomes diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Submit a cover letter, CV, teaching and research statements, and transcripts by the review period ending when the position is filled.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in neuroscience or a closely related field
- Broad training in neuroscience
- Ability to teach core and discipline-specific neuroscience program courses
- Ability to teach majors' and/or non-majors' courses in biology, computer science, philosophy and psychology
- Commitment to evidence-based and engaged-learning pedagogies
- Commitment to building an inclusive classroom and scholarly environment
- Commitment to engagement and inclusion of students, faculty, and staff with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences
