Assistant Professor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Clinical Placement Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate students' internship and practicum opportunities across the United States while developing, facilitating residency workshops, and managing site vetting and supervision logistics. Serve as a liaison with students, educators, staff, and community agencies to facilitate program objectives and create partnerships with mental health organizations. Teach core graduate-level coursework in a hybrid format, employ best practices in assessment, and contribute to accreditation and program approval standards. Engage in scholarly development, maintain regulatory compliance documents, and perform other duties assigned for the success of the program.
Required Qualifications
- PhD from a CACREP accredited institution in Counselor Education and Supervision
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience
- Professional identity in the counseling profession
- Minimum of three years of higher education experience with successful teaching
- Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor or eligible to seek and gain licensure
- Presence on the Methodist University campus in Fayetteville, North Carolina
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with teaching and curriculum development in an online graduate program in clinical mental health counseling
- Experience utilizing Lumivero Experial Learning Cloud or similar online platforms for field experience coordination and documentation
- Leadership experience in program administration
- Experience with the CACREP accreditation standards and processes
- Experience supervising master's level clinical mental health counseling students
