Job Summary
Delivery of the nursing curriculum via multiple modalities (experiential, didactic, evaluations, and NCLEX coaching) across on-ground supervised sites and distance education, with accountability for program outcomes and KPIs; engagement in faculty activities and committees; potential for additional teaching load and involvement in functional projects; supervision of clinical education activities; ongoing professional development and maintaining current nursing practice knowledge across multiple areas; requires licensure in nursing and credentials (CNE) with a strong emphasis on learner success and a robust learner load (100-150).
Required Qualifications
- Earned Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution
- Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence and ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in any jurisdiction required by the College
- Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commitment to obtaining within one year
- Two years of experience in clinical nursing (within the past five years)
- Two years of experience supervising clinical education activities
- Maintains immunizations and certification records as required by accreditation, facility, or state board of nursing
