Job Summary
Assistant Professor Endocrinology faculty position at UTMB Health (Galveston, TX) involving a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical care with outreach to outpatient locations in Galveston and the southern Houston metro area. Responsibilities include education of medical students, residents, and fellows; participation in research and clinical trials; and a schedule with 8 half-day outpatient clinics per week plus weekend inpatient rotations. Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO and have completed an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship, with a strong commitment to patient care and education, and eligibility for Texas medical licensure. Required Qualifications
- MD or D.O. degree
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Program and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License
