Job Summary
Full-time Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at UTMB Health (Galveston, TX) with 8 half-day outpatient clinics per week and weekend inpatient consult rotation; travel to outpatient service locations in Galveston and throughout the southern Houston metropolitan area; engagement in medical student, resident, and fellow education; opportunities for research support and clinical trial participation; collaborative, growth-oriented academic environment with competitive salary and benefits; seeking candidates with MD/DO, completed Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship, Texas medical license eligibility, and ideally 3+ years running an outpatient practice; U.S. citizenship or eligible work status required.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Program and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state of Texas Medical License
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ideal candidates should possess 3 or more years' operating their own outpatient practice
