Job Summary
UTMB Health invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor level Endocrinology position in the Division of Endocrinology. The role includes inpatient and outpatient clinical care across diverse endocrinology pathologies, with an emphasis on education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. The candidate will engage in clinics (bone health, obesity medicine, women's health, and correctional managed care) and participate in weekend inpatient consults, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes. The position may require travel to outpatient service locations in Galveston and throughout the southern Houston metropolitan area. Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Program
- Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License
- U.S. Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
