Job Summary
Full-time faculty position in the Division of Endocrinology at UTMB Health seeking an MD/DO with completed Internal Medicine and Endocrinology fellowship; requires commitment to patient care, medical education of students/residents/fellows, clinical practice across inpatient and outpatient Endocrinology, and potential travel to outpatient service locations in Galveston and the southern Houston metropolitan area. Engages in education/mentorship, participates in research support and potential clinical trials, and offers leadership and career advancement opportunities with a competitive salary and benefits package. Texas medical licensure and U.S. work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Program and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program
- US Citizenship or Employment Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted state of Texas Medical License
- Ideal candidates should possess 3 or more years' operating their own outpatient practice
