Job Summary
Teach undergraduate courses in criminology and criminal justice, including Introduction to Criminology, Criminological Theory, and Quantitative Research Methods, while developing electives aligned with research interests. Engage students in a dynamic learning environment and mentor students across teaching, scholarship, and service. Contribute to the growth and development of the Criminology program and provide service to the department, university, and profession. Submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, teaching and research philosophy statements, teaching evaluations, and two letters of reference by October 2026. Begin in August 2027, with a January 2027 start possible if circumstances permit.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field
- legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of appointment and throughout the duration of employment
