Job Summary
Conduct teaching for major organismal biology courses, introductory ecology and evolution classes, biostatistics, and senior Capstone projects alongside a 9-credit-hour load per semester. Develop and sustain an undergraduate research program utilizing institutional funds, the Butler Summer Institute, and the annual Undergraduate Research Conference. Submit a cover letter detailing inclusive and evidence-based pedagogical strategies, a CV, a teaching statement, and a research plan outlining student involvement. Provide three professional references and official transcripts; shortlisted candidates will submit recommendation letters and undergo a background check. Applications evaluated immediately with a preference for submissions by October 9, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in biology or a closely related field
- Terminal degree(s)
