Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations across face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. Serve as faculty advisor for student organizations, advise and mentor students, and maintain an active research agenda. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and the community to strengthen the public relations program while participating in university and community service. Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree (PhD, EDD, JD, MFA) in public relations or a related field
- ABD or AB thesis considered
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States
- Criminal Background Check
- Sex Offender Registry check
Desired Qualifications
- College teaching experience in public relations and/or related field
- Industry experience (public relations and/or related field)
- Student supervisory experience
- Research/creative activity related to the discipline and consistent with departmental focus and needs
- Experience with industry-standard software and equipment
- APR accreditation and PRSA membership
