Job Summary
Assistant Production Supervisor for 2nd shift at LightPath Technologies, based onsite in Orlando, FL. Responsible for supervising hourly employees, overseeing production activities, ensuring output meets quality standards, enforcing 5S and safety, and coaching staff. Requires knowledge of planning, scheduling, budgeting, and manufacturing software/ERP; MIL/ITAR/ISO/ANSI specifications familiarity; strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership in a manufacturing environment. Onsite role with a 9/80 schedule; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to potential hazards. Minimum qualifications include an A.A./A.S. or equivalent experience, US work authorization, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- A.A or A.S from two year college or university or a minimum of ten years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Expertise in MIL specs, ITAR regulations, ISO and ANSI specifications
- Must be authorized to work and reside in the US and must be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government to confirm with but not limited to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR)
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English
