Job Summary
Direct daily shift workflows, assignments, and startups/shutdowns in alignment with production and quality goals. Mentor, train, and supervise shift personnel including packers and press operators while conducting quality audits and visual inspections for stress fractures, bubbles, and color accuracy. Operate tow motors and presses as business demands require, enforce OSHA and PPE compliance protocols, and escalate issues immediately to leadership. Work 12-hour rotational shifts including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime, with flexibility for night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Report directly to the Assistant Plant Manager and Production Supervisor to support continuous facility improvement and daily floor execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of proven supervisory or leadership experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and general computer operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to read, comprehend, and execute detailed instructions while accurately recording quality data
- High sense of urgency, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods
- Ability to lift finished products overhead, handling weights up to 60 lbs
- Capacity to perform detailed visual inspections of finished products
- Available to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
- Flexibility to work the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) or other shifts based on operational needs
