Job Summary
Assistant Production Manager role on morning or afternoon shifts at Riverwood site. You will supervise a small production team under the Production Manager, drive staff performance, coordinate on-the-job training, and ensure adherence to quality, safety and efficiency standards across production lines to meet shift KPIs. You’ll maintain food safety/production records, GMP compliance, and organisation of the work area, assist with stock verification, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to reducing food waste while leading and motivating a diverse team.
Required Qualifications
- Background in food manufacturing/preparation and/or large volume commercial kitchen facility
- GMP, HACCP and Food Safety practices
- Certificate II in Food Processing (or working towards this qualification) or equivalent (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to give clear instructions to team and manage team performance
- Able to work in fast paced production environment with changing priorities
