Assistant Production Manager-Fulfillment

Job Summary
Oversee production employees and temporary staff while monitoring plant safety, quality, and line efficiency. Plan jobs and labor based on priority levels, generate revenue and labor reports in the inventory warehouse management system, and adjust labor to meet production goals. Coordinate set ups and break downs of production lines, communicate daily with staffing agencies to plan labor, and assign jobs to Leads. Coach and train Leads on production goals and labor needs, while providing ongoing training for all staff on the warehouse management system. Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety rules. Requires good English communication skills, arithmetic proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency, and willingness to work a flexible schedule. Attendance is an essential function.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent or combination of education and experience
- Must have good English written and verbal communication skills
- Good arithmetic skills
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule if necessary
- Attendance is an essential function of the role

- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications and experience
