Job Summary
Hands-on Assistant Production Manager responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, leading a production team, monitoring output, and driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key duties include supervising day-to-day activities, leading shift meetings, executing production plans and performance targets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, planning work schedules, troubleshooting operational issues, and supporting broader operational performance. The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, analytical problem-solving, and a focus on safety and quality within a fast-paced production environment. Six-Sigma Green Belt is a plus; proficiency in standard office software is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in a manufacturing environment supervising production quality and continuity
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Six-Sigma Green Belt certificate is considered a plus
- Strong understanding of production operations and manufacturing processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related tools
