Job Summary
Monitor the production floor, support team leaders, and conduct coaching with associates to maximize quality, safety, and productivity. Assist with technical issues, prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, and actively participate in production and management meetings. Report significant downtime to management and support new model launches while maintaining Standard Work Instructions. Complete required timesheets and assist with employee development, training, and performance evaluations for coordinators and team leaders. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Plant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes
- Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or coordinating employees
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- 3–5 years of manufacturing, production, supervisory, or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Project management or continuous improvement experience preferred
