Job Summary
Assistant Product Manager to support the development and execution of Hamilton Beach Brands' product strategy for small kitchen appliances. Oversees day-to-day operations of assigned product categories, monitors competitive activity (pricing, positioning, assortment, merchandising), helps define each product's value proposition, collaborates with cross-functional teams, partners with the sales team on product training and pricing strategies, tracks product performance and margins, and contributes to category strategy and special projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business and 2-4 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills; experience with cross-functional teams and supplier relationships is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in consumer product marketing and/or product development (CPG or appliances preferred)
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities
- Strong business acumen with a keen attention to detail, able to analyze financial data meticulously and translate it into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
