Assistant Product Manager

Job Summary
Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive multiple New Product Introduction projects through the Crane NPD process, managing costs, resources, risks, and scope while maintaining action plans and cadence reviews. Monitor existing product range performance against sales and margin targets, conducting win/loss analysis and market research to identify differentiation opportunities and amend strategies. Own Product Change Request and Special Product Enquiry processes, ensuring accurate ERP data for manufacturing routings, costs, and pricing. Assist with Capital Expenditure Requests, annual Strategic and Operating Plans, and provide training on product ranges to internal personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally educated to degree level in a technical and/or business management subject
- 1-2 years Product Management experience
- Good Excel and data analysis skills
- A sound commercial awareness, particularly as regards prices and margins
- Project management skills and experience
- Experience of presenting to audiences
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the water or HVAC industry, ideally with a manufacturing business, would be an advantage
- Ideally educated to degree level in a technical and/or business management subject, however relevant experience is highly valued
