Assistant Producer

Job Summary
As a member of the WBD Sports Europe team, support the Producer across the sports portfolio in the UK by assisting in all stages of a programme or series, contributing ideas for programmes, and helping develop content across WBD Sports channels and platforms. Responsibilities include producing, editing and writing scripts, teases, features, and other elements for live and recorded shows; directing off-site multi-camera shoots with high-profile contributors; providing story ideas from concept to execution; supervising edit sessions and audio record sessions; coordinating with production teammates and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery; and participating in discussions to improve workflows and efficiency. Hybrid working arrangement applying to this role.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of broadcast environment & live production techniques (studio-based shows, remote productions, outside broadcasts)
- Ability to produce/direct ENG camera shoots
- Working knowledge of non-linear editing techniques for fast turnaround edits
- Ability to contribute content ideas & suggestions
- Organisational and planning skills with precise attention to deadlines
