Job Summary
Produce radio shows from planning to post-production, including live and/or pre-recorded formats; generate original ideas, conduct thorough research, and plan/produce segments; give direction to presenters and crew; manage show budgets and obtain permissions/licenses for recording/broadcasting on location and use of music/sound effects; coordinate with guests and program contributors; monitor listener communications; ensure quality production standards and regulatory compliance; operate broadcasting technologies and assist with time-keeping, archiving, and post-production editing; strong writing/storytelling, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; 3+ years’ radio production experience and a 4-year college degree in Radio or Media Production; compensation range reflects hourly pay converted to annualized salary; location is Sherman Oaks, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree, preferably in Radio or Media Production
- 3+ years’ experience as Radio Producer and/or Assistant in a smaller market or college station
- Knowledgeable of the radio market, different station/program styles, audience demographics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms
