Assistant Produce Manager

Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Produce Department; assists Produce Department Manager in presenting fresh, high-quality products and executing department operations including inventory, pricing, sanitation, and safety; trains and supervises staff, floors stock, unloads deliveries, rotates stock for freshness, and supports overall store operations to ensure a positive customer experience. Strong emphasis on customer interaction, knowledge of produce items and uses, ability to train new employees, adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, and capability to handle equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts; success requires teamwork, operational accuracy, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced retail environment.
