Job Summary
Assist Department Manager to deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service and to execute departmental strategies for a high-performing grocery department. Lead regular team huddles, coach and develop staff, manage inventory, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll functions, and ensure compliance with Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies. Maintain department cleanliness and support daily operations while providing strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Requires post-secondary program in business with at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; English as primary language with French considered an asset. Grow and promote a culture of engagement, training, and outstanding service.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business and a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
