Assistant Procurement Manager Raw Materials Asia

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned raw material categories based on market intelligence, supply risk assessments, and business requirements. Monitor and analyze regional and global raw material markets, including supply-demand fundamentals, feedstock trends, and geopolitical impacts, to identify opportunities and emerging trends. Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships by conducting regular business reviews, audits, and performance assessments to drive continuous improvement and value creation. Negotiate, execute, and manage supply agreements while collaborating with Legal to mitigate commercial risks and resolve non-standard contractual issues. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to supplier dependency and logistics by developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies. Develop and implement sourcing strategies that support the Company's sustainability, ESG, and responsible sourcing objectives, including carbon footprint reduction and supply chain transparency. Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, and Sustainability teams to qualify alternative suppliers and implement sustainable raw materials.
