Job Summary
Conduct independent hauler sourcing and onboarding to support final mile delivery operations, including evaluating carriers, developing outreach strategies, and managing contract negotiations. Maintain strong vendor relationships by monitoring KPIs such as on-time delivery and claims, while ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and insurance requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and technology teams to align procurement strategies and secure capacity for new markets. Provide market intelligence on industry trends and regulatory changes to improve sourcing efficiency and cost control. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field with 3+ years of procurement experience. Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or transportation sourcing, preferably with independent contractors
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and procurement platforms
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in final mile delivery or gig economy logistics
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier compliance standards
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for broader hauler engagement
