Job Summary
Prepares the press for runs by verifying job specs, setting up equipment, and inspecting fountain solutions, inking systems, and paper rolls. Maintains proper inventory, records usage and spoilage on SPC reports, and ensures paper is properly unwrapped, mounted, and ready for splicing. Monitors paper flow throughout the run, installs new rolls as needed, and works with press operators on preventative maintenance. Assists with troubleshooting, repairs, make-readies, and ink adjustments to maintain color consistency. Adheres to safety policies, including hazardous waste handling and lock-out/tag-out rules. Requires prior commercial printing experience; schedule includes day and night shifts with a $2/hour differential for night work.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to work in a team environment
