Job Summary
Assist in implementing the academic program and promote a positive school climate; supervise and evaluate staff; oversee student welfare and safety; conduct teacher/classroom walk-throughs and provide feedback; ensure compliance with federal/state/local laws and district policies; assist in master scheduling, teaching assignments, and student schedules; supervise instructional support teams and coordinate student services (including SN/SAI, IEPs, 504s, and gifted plans); maintain student records confidentiality; act as liaison with parents/guardians and the community; support budget requests and procurement; coordinate transportation, facilities, and safety inspections; perform duties as assigned with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Certification as a Principal PK-12 or equivalent
- Master's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a school setting
- Acts 34, 114, 151 clearances less than one year old
- Act 24, Act 126 Certificate and Act 168 disclosure releases
