Job Summary
Assistant Principal (Secondary) oversees leadership, learning, and culture with duties including developing mission and vision, ensuring alignment with Ohio standards, supporting equitable instruction, data-driven decision making, implementation of professional development, and PBIS. Responsibilities span supporting student safety and health, managing schedules and attendance records, coordinating with parents and community stakeholders, and assisting with supervision of staff and instruction. Requires a Master’s in Educational Administration, an administrative license, 3-5 years of teaching experience, and prior school-administration exposure. This role is full-time (225 days) and Exempt under FLSA, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, reporting to the Principal.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Educational Administration (or similar)
- Appropriate administrative license
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years teaching experience, preferably in secondary school
- Experience in school administration (preferred)
- Alternative qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
