Job Summary
IDEA Public Schools seeks an Assistant Principal of Instruction (APIs) at IDEA Judson Academy to lead instructional staff in achieving college readiness for all students. The role focuses on coaching teachers, supervising TEKS-aligned curricula and assessments, conducting daily observations, and delivering data-driven feedback to raise student achievement. Responsibilities include leading instructional staff to improve teaching practices through on-the-spot coaching, data conversations, and evaluations; overseeing lesson plans and curriculum implementation; managing student behavior; engaging families about student progress; fostering a collaborative school culture; overseeing tutoring programs; and participating in weekly manager check-ins and school-wide meetings. The position requires a substantial commitment to campus presence (minimum 40+ hours per week) and may involve additional duties such as after-school tutoring. Required Qualifications
