Assistant Principal of Instruction - IDEA Achieve College Prep (26-27)

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal of Instruction at IDEA Achieve College Prep to serve as an instructional leader who coaches and develops teachers to achieve ambitious student results, monitors student progress toward college readiness, and leads data-driven improvements across TEKS-aligned curricula and assessments. You will lead instructional staff to improve teaching effectiveness through daily observations, feedback on lesson plans, and data conversations, while building strong partnerships with families and delivering a college-ready culture. The role requires leading grade-level and campus-wide initiatives, supervising instructional coaches, and dedicating substantial time on campus (minimum 40+ hours per week) to drive student achievement and teacher development. Key responsibilities include supporting student outcomes through curricula and assessments, coaching teachers on curriculum and instruction, de-escalating student behavior, and fostering a collaborative school environment focused on college access for all students. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and relevant K-12 teaching/leadership experience; relocation allowance may be provided. What you’ll do also includes supervising teachers/co-teachers, leading data-driven strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with students and families.
