Job Summary
High School Principal role focused on academic and culture leadership: responsible for setting strategic priorities, ensuring excellent instruction and equitable outcomes, leading the School Culture Team, developing and monitoring a school-wide discipline system aligned with restorative practices, leading Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavior interventions, overseeing attendance and dress-code policies, analyzing behavioral and attendance data to guide planning, coaching the culture and SEL teams, coordinating professional development, and collaborating with the School Leadership Team and families to support all students. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with at least five years in school culture or teaching and two years in school leadership, located in the Bronx, NY, with a full-time arrangement. Compensation is $125,000 to $135,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or school leadership, preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of school culture or teaching experience
- Two (2) years of school leadership experience
- Strong teaching and classroom culture building skills
- Ability to coach others
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience creating, monitoring and maintaining sustainable school culture systems
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Servant leadership
